> The magnificent Dudhsagar Falls lie on the border
between the States of Goa and Karnataka and is the second highest waterfall in India.

> After the drive from the coast inland to our changeover point just outside this national park, we swap the relative comfort of our transfer bus for the rugged utility of a four-wheel-drive jeep.

> The falls can only be reached by four-wheel-drive vehicles as the there is no paved road up to the falls and this journey up a rocky path and through rivers in this national park is an exciting adventure in itself!

> We leave the jeep for a short walk through the jungle to the foot of the Falls where there will be ample time to feed the monkeys, sit and relax or perhaps take a swim in the clear, cool waters of the pool at the base of the Falls where the fabled, giant Mahseer fish swim.
