As part of the Spice Plantation Trip, John organizes for interested tourists the opportunity to ride a tamed and friendly elephant. John encourages tourists to taken an Elephant Ride as it is very therapeutic for the person riding. Also the person sitting on the back of the elephant gets a totally different view of the scenery around the elephant during the ride.
Elephant rides are a major attraction for children, families and adults alike. The Elephant rides provided by John’s Boat Tours are always monitored by a trained Mahout who controls the elephant at all times.
You are even allowed to feed the elephants with your hands, with bananas (or sugarcane when in season). John welcomes you to ride an elephant in Goa as this will be the ride of your lifetime with pleasant memories of the friendly elephant and India once back home.
